Quality Pressure Washing (“QPW”) is committed to protecting the planet. In addition to using environmentally safe, biodegradable detergents for cleaning, QPW has made investments into a mobile, self-contained water reclamation system which allows us to capture and recycle water. QPW strives to recapture up to 90% of water used.

When arriving at the location of service, our lead crew member will assess the area where the vehicles are stationed and identify the storm drains. When the storm drains are accounted for, the crew will remove the storm drain covers and insert our waste water containment catch. This prevents any waste water from entering into the storm drain.

The QPW team of technicians have two tools available to them for water reclamation:

Hydro-Tek Vacuum Water Capture and Transfer System – This water reclamation system is stationed on our service trucks. The system features a 350 foot hose capable of reaching the storm drains and vacuums the water straight from the containment catch and back into our waste water holding tanks. This industry leading tool is able to be used with both cold water and hot water and may recover up to 25 gallons per minute for a quick and efficient water reclamation process.

Sump Pumps – Alternatively, our technicians can insert a sump pump into the contain catch which is then able to discharge the waste water into waste water holding tanks.

After all waste water has been captured and safely contained, our professional team of technicians will then transport the waste water back to our headquarter facility. QPW has a Special Waste Hauling Permit issued by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency to perform this task. Upon arrival, the waste water is transferred into a larger, separate 2000 gallon holding tank. As the holding tank nears capacity, QPW contacts GFL Environmental for removal. GFL Environmental is licensed and certified to safely collect, transport, process and/or dispose of liquids.
